Questions frequent
Everything you need to know before requesting a quote.
What is the minimum quantity for custom playing cards?
From1 unique prototype to validate your concept. Cost-effective tiers: 50, 500, 1,000, 5,000 and up to 50,000 units. Small runs (50 to 500) use digital printing in our Brittany workshop; from 1,000 units, Angoulême offset becomes more cost-effective.
Which weight and finish for professional cards?
Standard: 300gsm board. Options: 280gsm (value, high volume), 350gsm (premium), composite black core (strategy games, 100% opacity). Recommended finish for a pro look: linen (canvas microtexture, premium Bicycle-style feel). Matt, gloss or soft-touch lamination optional.
What are the manufacturing lead times?
Prototype: 10 to 15 working days. Standard production run: 3 to 5 weeks. Express: 7 working days (subject to conditions). Lead times vary with volume, finishes (foil stamping, spot UV varnish) and die-cut complexity.
Can you design my cards?
Yes. Our in-house studio supports visual creation (illustrations, layout, print templates) from a brief, a brand guideline or an idea. Service included for B2B and publisher projects. See our guide creating a custom card game.
Are your cards EN71 compliant and eco-responsible?
Yes. All our cards comply with the toy standard EN71 (physical, mechanical and chemical safety). FSC-certified cardboard or high recycled content, vegetable inks, UV eco-solvents without petroleum solvents, glue-free cases. 100% French manufacturing drastically reduces the transport footprint. See our CSR commitments.
